PNG Digital achieve exceptional results for St Aidan’s Student Magazine
St Aidan’s School in Blackpool discovered PNG Digital after a teacher received a thank you card for a fundraising project which was printed by them.
She was so impressed with the quality that she approached the Blackpool-based printing company and asked if they could produce their student magazine. The student magazine “Live Wyre” is designed and written by students and contains a mixture of news, achievements in numerous activities such as poetry, the cadets, catering and sport, as well as awards success from the Blackpool Gazette Education Awards and The Guardian Young Critic Award, plus a raft of other material.
It’s a substantial magazine at 32-pages A4 and takes a considerable amount of time and effort on the students’ part to deliver such a comprehensive product, therefore, it’s obviously important to both the students and teachers at the school that it is printed to the highest possible standards.
Samantha Kalinski, Teacher of English & Media Coordinator at St Aidan’s School who initially approached PNG Digital commented, “We were exceptionally impressed with PNG Digital, from the initial quotation through to the final finished product, they responded to all our questions quickly and efficiently, resolved any design issues we encountered and printed and delivered the magazine to the timescales we agreed. The service really was outstanding.”
Samantha continued, “We’ve had some great feedback from both the students and the teachers. The magazine highlights the great work our students produce as well as their achievements and is a real inspiration to us all.”
PNG Digital have been asked by the school what other products they produce and are hoping to print more material for the school in the future.
