Jacqueline Rawcliffe from PNG Digital took part in the Blackpool Brian House Bubble Rush on Saturday 14th April.
The Bubble Rush is open to everyone and is a family-friendly 5km course. People complete the course in a variety of ways from running, dancing, walkingor skippingaround the course, through 4 coloured Bubble Stations. The event isn’t timed, so people aren’t racing against each, they’re purely there to enjoy themselves and everyone gets a medal at the end!
Each Bubble Station contains high powered foam cannons blowing huge amounts of frothy milkshake bubbles to ensure all the participants get completely covered in coloured frothy foam! The course at Blackpool is around Lawson’s Showground and is a 2.5km loop, meaning participants have to go around the loop twice and are therefore exposed to double the amount of bubbles!
Jacqueline Rawcliffe commented “I chose the Brian House Bubble Rush because it is such an entertaining and rewarding event, there’s a superb buzz amongst everyone involved. People are there to have a fabulous time whilst raising money for Brian House Children’s Hospice who provide specialist care and respite for children with life-limiting illness in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre completely free of charge. It’s great to be involved in such a worthwhile cause.”
Bubble Rush events are held throughout the UK from April until October and each one raises funds to support the work of local hospices.
