Adding the personal touch to Christmas!

These days of many people working from home, with Zoom, email and phone call overload, actually connecting with people by adding a personal touch can mean a lot. When was the last time you received a hand written note? It doesn’t have to be a ‘War and Peace’ letter, just a note or even a handwritten signature could be all it needs.

Here are a few of our ideas about how you can make a difference by adding that personal touch:

  • Thank you notes – you could thank them for a purchase adding that ‘we hope you enjoy your …’ or thank partners and suppliers for their help.
  • Letters – hand write your signature rather than printing it when possible, or even add a handwritten ‘P.S.’ sentence at the end.
  • Compliment slips – these can be included with brochures, with a note about which item you think they might like and why, showing that you listened.
  • Greeting cards – send a birthday wish or seasonal greeting, you could add a personalised image to take it the next level. As 2020 comes to an end it may be a well-timed message of ‘Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year’ that makes all the difference to someone.

With social distancing and remote working, a personal touch will be more appreciated than ever. So why not add a little note to show it’s not just another printed item and that it is actually from a real person?
